Uttarakhand / Dehradun: Vishwa Hindu Parishad performed Tarpan in the memory of soldiers who made the supreme sacrifice for the nation
Vishwa Hindu Parishad performs mass tarpan for its ancestors and martyrs every year on the day of Shraddha Amavasya. This year too, the tarpan program for the soldiers who made the supreme sacrifice for the nation was held in the courtyard of Tapkeshwar temple on the banks of river Tamsa. The chief priest of the program, Vishwa Hindu Parishad Prant Math Mandir Pramukh Subhash Joshi said that this year, through the process of Sarvabhoomi with the soldiers, mass tarpan was performed for all the departed beings of the world with the spirit of Sarve Sukhina Santu for the environment and all living beings and flora.
District President of Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Alok Kumar Sinha told that Vishwa Hindu Parishad performs Tarpan for its ancestors and martyrs every year. Last year, Tarpan was performed for the ancestors who sacrificed their lives in the horrors of Partition. This year, collective Tarpan was performed for the soldiers and ancestors who made the supreme sacrifice for the nation. Members of the State Harmony Team of Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Naveen Gupta, District Minister Shyam Sharma, Co-Secretary Vishal Chaudhary, Chandan Negi, Raja Verma, Vidhan Singh Rawat, Rajendra Bhatt, Vishal, Dr. Amit and many workers were present in the program.
