Bus full of ITBP jawans overturned, accident on Rishikesh-Chamba highway, they were returning from Jammu and Kashmir election duty

A bus full of ITBP jawans returning from Jammu Kashmir assembly election duty overturned near Tachila. The accident took place on Rishikesh-Chamba National Highway. Seven jawans have been injured while all other jawans are safe. The bus was going from Rishikesh to Uttarkashi. The injured have been admitted to the hospital for treatment. After the accident, there was a long jam on both sides of the highway.

The injured were brought to Shri Dev Suman Government Sub District Hospital located in Narendra Nagar. Where first aid is being given by teams of doctors under the leadership of Chief Medical Superintendent Dr. Anil Negi. Ajay and Milan, members of the medical team along with ITBP jawans, said that their team provided first aid to the injured at the incident stage itself.
