Uttarakhand / Dehradun: New executive committee formed in Drona Vatika Colony, Rajdev Singh Yadav bid farewell, Laxmi became president
Using the powers of the Drona Vatika Resident Society under the Societies Registration Act No. (21 of 1860), the general body meeting and executive elections were held in Drona Vatika Colony, Dehradun. In the meeting, first of all, former executive president Rajdev Singh Yadav presented the account of income and expenditure of the last 3 years and made public his 3-year tenure among the general body. Yadav presented the sweet and sour memories and important points of his tenure before the general body. Addressing the general body, Yadav said that our committee has done many important works in the interest of the society in the last 3 years. In which the committee got Drona Vatika registered in the Society Act and the accounts of income and expenditure of every financial year were kept in the general meeting from time to time. Yadav said that the committee organised cultural religious and cultural programmes from time to time so that an environment of mutual consent was created among the children of the colony and the general public. Yadav said that many times on the platform of the society, works were also done according to the opinion given by other officials and the general public, which were in the interest of the colony. Finally, ending his tenure, the chairman of the committee Rajdev Singh Yadav dissolved the society by ending the term of the executive of Drona Vatika Colony and gave the responsibility of the election to the guardians of the colony to conduct peaceful elections.
The guardians discussed in the general meeting and elected the chairman / vice-chairman / secretary / joint secretary / treasurer executive member / and guardian of the committee by voice vote. Since more than one candidate did not participate in the election for any post, the name of the candidate suggested by the general meeting was announced in front of his post by voice vote.
