Uttarakhand: Now minister Dhan Singh Rawat himself will inspect hospitals every two days, strict action will be taken on negligence

Recently, DM Ashish Chauhan had conducted a raid late night at the Community Health Center Thalisain. In which the health system was exposed. Not only this, DM Chauhan also ordered an investigation into the matter. Now Health Minister Dhan Singh Rawat has also taken cognizance of this matter. Minister Dhan Singh Rawat says that he will now inspect the hospitals every other day. Along with this, he has also issued orders that all DMs and SDMs will inspect the hospitals. If there is any core deficiency anywhere, immediate action will be taken in the matter.

Inauguration of Pauri CMO Administrative Building

Actually, Cabinet Minister Dhan Singh Rawat was on his two-day visit to Pauri. During this, he inaugurated the newly constructed administrative building of the Chief Medical Officer Office. Which has been prepared at a cost of Rs 4 crore 40 lakh 71 thousand. He said that the government is doing better work in the field of health, the benefits of which are reaching the public directly.

MBBS studies will start in Udham Singh Nagar and Pithoragarh Medical College from next year

He also said that at the time of formation of the state, there was not a single medical college in Uttarakhand. First of all, after Srinagar Medical College, Haridwar and Graphic Era Medical College have been found this year. Now MBBS studies will be started in Udham Singh Nagar and Pithoragarh Medical College from next year.

Minister Rawat said that all the backlog posts of doctors will also be filled soon. At present, the appointment process of 1500 ward boys is going on. Whereas, recruitment of 350 lab technicians is also going to happen soon. He said that 127 doctors who did MBBS from government medical colleges have been dismissed for breaking the bond regarding appointment in remote areas. Whereas, a fine of ₹ 1 crore has also been imposed on them.

Ayushman cards of 60 lakh people have been made in Uttarakhand

At the same time, Cabinet Minister Dhan Singh Rawat said that till now Ayushman cards of 60 lakh people have been made in the state. Those who do not have their cards made, can go to their nearest CSC center and get their Ayushman card made. He said that 272 tests are being done free of cost by the health department. At the same time, the facility of bringing and taking dialysis patients from home is also being provided free of cost.

One lakh people have had cataract operation done for free

He said that under the ‘Eja Boi Yojana’, an incentive amount of Rs 2,000 is being given to the beneficiary woman after delivery in the hospital. So far, cataract operation of one lakh people has been done for free. Apart from this, he said that injection medicines for snake and dog bites are also made available free of cost in hospitals.

If 108 does not reach on time, the amount will be deducted at the rate of Rs 2,500 per hour

So far, 5 lakh children have been born through 108 service. If 108 service does not reach the patient at any place in 15 or 20 minutes, then the amount will be deducted at the rate of Rs 2,500 per hour from 108 service. He further said that a centre for 1,000 NCC cadets will be constructed in Pauri at a cost of about Rs 30 crore.
