Uttarakhand / Dehradun: DM takes action, suspends Assistant Development Officer

DM Dehradun has taken major action against corruption. DM has suspended the Assistant Development Officer on the matter of irregularities. Along with this, a case has also been registered against the Assistant Development Officer under serious sections. DM said that no action will be taken against those who promote fraud and corruption.

Let us tell you that while taking action against corruption, Assistant Development Officer Panchayat Rajendra Singh Gusain of Doiwala has been suspended on the orders of DM Dehradun Savin Bansal. Against the rules, without taking cognizance of higher officials, the name of District Panchayat Territorial Constituency Sahab Nagar under Area Panchayat Doiwala was changed to Khairi Khurd and other irregularities were found, due to which the Assistant Development Officer has been immediately suspended and a case has been registered against him in Dalanwala Police Station. This action has been taken after investigation on the complaint letter of District President, Pradhan Organization Dehradun and Gram Pradhans of Development Block Doiwala.

It was told in the complaint letter that Gram Pradhan Pratit Nagar Anil Kumar was being harassed mentally and financially by the Assistant Development Officer. The officer was also accused of working without the consent of the village head and putting up signboards without their consent and forcibly pressurizing the village head and demanding money for the signboards. After an investigation was conducted by the District Magistrate, the facts were found to be true. After which a case has been registered against the Assistant Development Officer Panchayat Doiwala under various sections.
