Uttarakhand: The Deputy Leader of the Opposition surrounded the government on land law and domicile, said- people are being blackmailed

These days, the demand for a strong land law is gaining momentum in the entire state. Regarding which the Dhami government is expressing its commitment. At the same time, Deputy Leader of Opposition and MLA Bhuvan Kapri, accusing the government, said that people are being intimidated and blackmailed in the name of land law and native residence. Those who have invested here earlier, now the work of blackmailing those people is being done in the name of land law and native residence.

Deputy Leader of Opposition Bhuvan Kapri said that this reveals the double character of the Central Government and State Government of Bharatiya Janata Party. The Deputy Leader of Opposition alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party is selling the water, forest land and rivers of our Uttarakhand. They are doing this for their favourites. He said that if the government finds the land law so important, then the assembly session should be called immediately regarding this and it should be discussed.

He further said that those who have already invested in Uttarakhand in the name of land law and native residence should not be intimidated in the name of land law to recover the money. He said that this has created an atmosphere of chaos. He said that those who have taken land in the past have taken it according to the old law. He said that if the government is doing something and it is in the interest of the public, then bring it to the ground and people should benefit from it, not suffer.

On the other hand, recently on the land law, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami had said that there was a need for strict land law in the state for a long time, it has been demanded by the people many times. He said that we also want that the land law should be strict inside the state. The land law which is in force till now, the provisions that have been made, those provisions in the purchase and sale of land, who have violated or not followed them, the purpose for which that land has been purchased by them, if that land has not been used in that purpose, then orders have been given for immediate investigation of all such types of land. He said that in the near future we will bring strict land law. In the upcoming assembly session, we will bring strict land law.
