This UP MLA’s land was vested in the state government, efforts for strict land laws have begun

After the instructions of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, the exercise of strict land law has started in Uttarakhand. The Dhami government has vested the land of Uttar Pradesh MLA Kunwar Raghuraj Pratap Singh alias Raja Bhaiya in the state government. After the instructions of CM Dhami, investigations are going on in cases related to land purchase in Dehradun, Haridwar, Nainital and Udham Singh Nagar districts. Meanwhile, the Dhami government has given a big blow to Raja Bhaiya. Let us tell you that Raja Bhaiya has bought property in many states along with UP. In 2007, a deal of 0.555 hectares of agricultural land was done in Siltona village of Nainital district in the name of Raghuraj Pratap’s wife Bhanvi Singh.

There was a stir among the land mafia

Fencing was also done on the said land. But from 2007 to 2024, no farming related work was done on the land. After the action of the Dhami government, the Revenue Department has registered this land in the government’s account. Let us tell you that Kunwar Raghuraj Pratap Singh is a big name in Uttar Pradesh politics. After this action of the Dhami government of Uttarakhand, there is a stir among the land mafia.

First action taken after CM Dhami’s order

In view of the demand for land law rising continuously in the state, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami had ordered on September 27 that cases of people coming from outside states violating the provision of buying more than 250 square meters of land outside the municipal areas without permission and more than one member of the same family purchasing more land than prescribed in different names will be investigated.
