Famous film actor Paresh Rawal met Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami at the Chief Minister’s Camp Office. He has shot the Bollywood film “Past Tense” directed by Anant Narayan Mahadevan in Dehradun, Rishikesh and Mussoorie of Uttarakhand.

Actor Paresh Rawal met CM Dhami today. He said that he has been shooting the film in Uttarakhand for the last 42 days. He said that the state has a very good environment for filming. Full cooperation was received from the public as well as government departments for shooting films. There is a very peaceful environment in the state for shooting. The people of Uttarakhand are also of very positive ideology. He said that he is shooting another film in Uttarakhand.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that there are many destinations for shooting films in Uttarakhand. There are many places associated with natural beauty in the mountainous regions of Uttarakhand. Every destination of the state is suitable for filming. Many places like Adi Kailash, Chakrata, Mana are in Uttarakhand.
CM told about Uttarakhand Film Policy-2024
CM Dhami said that Uttarakhand Film Policy-2024 has been made in the state. Grant amount of 30 percent of the total amount spent in the state or maximum Rs 03 crore is being given to films in Hindi and languages in the 8th Schedule of the Constitution. Grant of 30 percent of the amount spent in the state or maximum Rs 03 crore is being given on foreign films and films with a budget of more than Rs 50 crore. Films in regional languages of the state are being given a grant of up to a maximum of Rs 02 crore of the amount spent in the state. Permission is being given through single window system for shooting films in the state.
