Uttarakhand / Dehradun: The woman had gone out for a walk from her home, the professor molested her, now he is arrested

In Dehradun, a bike rider misbehaved with a woman who had gone out for a walk from her house. The police have taken the accused into custody on the complaint of the woman. It is being told that the accused is working as an assistant professor in a private educational institution.

Indecent behaviour with a woman who had gone out for a walk

According to the information received from the police, a woman had given a complaint in Premnagar police station on Sunday. In which the woman told that while walking in the street near her house, an unknown motorcyclist misbehaved with her. On protesting, the motorcyclist fled from the spot. On the basis of the complaint, the police registered a case against the unknown and started investigating the matter.

The accused is working as an assistant professor

The police team reached the spot and started searching the CCTV footage installed nearby. The police reached the accused with the bike number obtained from the CCTV footage. The accused has been identified as Varun Rawat (32) son of Jeevan Singh Rawat, resident of Almora. It is being told that the accused is working as an assistant professor in a private educational institution. The police has arrested him.
