Uttarakhand: CM Dhami handed over appointment letters to two hundred and ninety nine youths in 19 departments, said- Our government has given jobs to 17500 youths so far

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Tuesday handed over appointment letters to 289 officers of 19 departments selected under the State Civil / Senior Subordinate Service Examination-2021 at the Mukhya Sevak Sadan located at the Chief Minister’s residence. In the last three years, more than 17500 candidates have been appointed in government service in the state.

Wishing all the candidates the best and congratulated them, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that today a new beginning is taking place in the lives of these young officers of ours. He said that the contribution of these young captains of ours will also be important in fulfilling the resolve of Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji to develop India by the year 2047. He said that these young officers of ours are soldiers of the Amritkaal of Independence, who will fulfill the dream of developed India. The appointment of these officers in various departments of the state government will accelerate the work related to public interest. This will give new momentum and direction to the system.

The Chief Minister said that our government had decided in the first cabinet meeting that all the 24 thousand vacant posts in the government departments of the state would be filled. Right now the recruitment process is in progress for many posts. He said that to make Uttarakhand the leading and ideal state of the country, everyone has to work with the spirit of Team Uttarakhand. He said that today Uttarakhand is making a unique identity in the country in every field. The state has got the first place in the ranking of Sustainable Development Goals released by NITI Aayog.

The Chief Minister has expected from all the selected officers that they will bring regular innovation in their field of work. The public welfare schemes being run by the Central and State Government will be easily delivered to the people at the last end of the society. He said that these officers of ours will act as a bridge between the government and the public. He expressed hope that these Karmayogis of our Amritkaal of Independence will take the state forward on the path of continuous progress by serving the common people through their administrative ability.

Among the 289 officers who were given appointment letters today, there are 10 Deputy Collectors, 10 Deputy SPs, 18 Finance Officers, 16 Assistant Commissioners State Tax, 03 Jail Superintendents, 11 Assistant Divisional Transport Officers (A.R.T.O.), 28 Block Development Officers, 04 Executive Officers District Panchayat, 07 Assistant Registrars Cooperatives, 04 District Supply Officers, 03 Sub Divisional Marketing Officers, 05 District Social Welfare Officers, 17 Assistant Directors Industries, 02 Assistant Labour Commissioners, 03 Assistant Directors Factory, 32 Deputy Education Officers, 11 District Information Officers/Information Officers, 03 Assistant Directors Fisheries, 01 Assistant Sugarcane Commissioner, 19 Child Development Project Officers, 02 District Probation Officers, 02 District Minority Welfare Officers, 28 State Tax Officers, 12 Deputy Registrars Category-2, 01 Superintendent Government Certified Institution, 01 Publicity Officer Tourism, 03 Case Workers, 10 Assistant Directors Agriculture and Horticulture, 20 Horticulture Development Officers, 01 Mushroom Development Officer, 01 Plant Protection Officer, 01 Food Processing Officer are included.
