Good news for farmers in the festive season, MSP increased on these crops

There is good news for farmers in the festive season. The Modi government has decided to increase the minimum support price on Rabi crops, announcing an important decision for the farmers. Apart from this, Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has also announced a 3 percent increase in the dearness allowance of employees.

MSP has been increased on these crops

  • Wheat – Rs 2275 to Rs 2425
  • Barley – Rs 1850 to Rs 1980
  • Gram Rs 5440 to Rs 5650
  • Lentil – Rs 6425 to Rs 6700
  • Rapeseed / Mustard Rs 5650 to Rs 5950
  • Safflower – Rs 5800 to Rs 5940

Relief decision for farmers

This decision is considered to be a relief for the farmers. Let us tell you that Rabi crops are sown in winter after the monsoon rains end and are harvested in summer. Their crop season runs from October to April. Now this decision of the government will provide great relief to the farmers cultivating these crops. These crops are also cultivated on a large scale in states like Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Bihar.
