Uttarakhand: Congress appointed two more observers for Kedarnath by-election, assigned responsibility to these big leaders

The Election Commission has announced the date for the by-election to be held on the Kedarnath assembly seat of Uttarakhand. Voting for the Kedarnath assembly by-election will be held on November 20. The election results will be declared on November 23. Along with this, the Congress has also appointed two more observers for the Kedarnath assembly by-election. Former state president Ganesh Godiyal has been given the responsibility of senior observer. Apart from this, Congress MLA Lakhpat Butola from Badrinath assembly seat has been made observer.

After winning the Mangalore and Badrinath by-elections, the Congress has started looking for a strong candidate in the Kedarnath by-election. Today on October 15, the Election Commission has also announced the date of the Kedarnath by-election. At the same time, now for the Kedarnath assembly by-election, the Congress has assigned the responsibility of senior observer to former state president Ganesh Godiyal.

Congress’s state in-charge and MP Kumari Shailaja wrote a letter to the Congress’s state president and informed that in view of the by-election for the Kedarnath assembly seat of the state, former state president of Congress Ganesh Godiyal has been nominated as senior observer with immediate effect. Along with this, Congress MLA Lakhpat Butola from Badrinath assembly seat has also been made observer.

Earlier also, the Congress high command has appointed Deputy Leader of Opposition Bhuvan Kapri and MLA Virendra Jati as observers for the Kedarnath by-election. The party has appointed four observers from Uttarakhand for the by-election to be held for the Kedarnath assembly seat.
