The courage of the miscreants in Haridwar is increasing day by day. When the police personnel stopped the suspects for checking in Ranipur, the miscreants attacked the policemen with an iron rod and escaped. At present, the police is engaged in searching for the accused.
Miscreant attacked the policeman from the road
Let us tell you that on October 14, at around 3 o’clock in the night, Head Constable Kundan Chauhan and Home Guard Vikram were on patrol in Shivalik Nagar area under Kotwali Ranipur area. During this, on finding the suspects, they stopped the e-rickshaw and scooty rider for checking. While interrogating the suspects, a miscreant attacked the jawans on the head with a road.
Search for the accused continues
The policemen showed bravery and made every effort to catch the miscreants even in injured condition. But both the miscreants left the stolen e-rickshaw on the spot and escaped on a scooty. SSP Pramod Singh Dobal reached the hospital and enquired about the condition of the injured policemen. The SSP said that various police teams are engaged in searching for the two suspects riding the scooty.
