The five-day Kumaon Dwar Mahotsav got off to a grand start in Haldwani on Tuesday evening. CM Dhami reached Haldwani to inaugurate the Kumaon Dwar Mahotsav. In the program, CM Dhami honored the people who made a significant contribution in the field of folk culture and folk art of the state. MP Ajay Bhatt was also present in the program.
Maithili Thakur reached Kumaon Dwar Mahotsav and made everyone happy
On the first day of Kumaon Dwar Mahotsav, the country’s famous singer Maithili Thakur arrived. Maithili Thakur sang bhajans as well as Kumaoni and Garhwali songs in the festival. The audience danced to her songs. CM Dhami himself remained present in the program for a long time to listen to Maithili Thakur’s songs.

She said that she felt Uttarakhand was like her home. Maithili said that she was very happy that so many people came to listen to her songs.
