The five-day Kumaon Dwar Mahotsav got off to a grand start in Haldwani on Tuesday evening. CM Dhami reached Haldwani to inaugurate the Kumaon Dwar Mahotsav. In the program, CM Dhami honored the people who made a significant contribution in the field of folk culture and folk art of the state. MP Ajay Bhatt was also present in the program.

On the first day of Kumaon Dwar Mahotsav, the country’s famous singer Maithili Thakur arrived. Maithili Thakur sang bhajans as well as Kumaoni and Garhwali songs in the festival. The audience danced to her songs. CM Dhami himself remained present in the program for a long time to listen to Maithili Thakur’s songs.

Maithili stole the show by singing ‘Bedu Pako Baramasa’

As soon as Maithili Thakur sang Bedu Pako Baramasa at the Kumaon Dwar Mahotsav, the audience could not stop themselves from dancing. Maithili, who arrived at the five-day Kumaon Dwar Mahotsav, said that she felt very happy to come to Uttarakhand.
