Uttarakhand: This year Uttarakhand’s state foundation day will be special, know what will be new this time
The State Foundation Day celebration of Uttarakhand is going to be very special this time. The Devbhoomi Rajatotsav, which is being organized throughout the year as the completion of 24 years of the establishment of the state of Uttarakhand and the beginning of the 25th Silver Jubilee, will begin on 9 November.
This year the State Foundation Day will be special
In line with the instructions of Chief Minister Dhami to organize the State Foundation Day, which is being celebrated this year as the completion of 24 years of the establishment of the state of Uttarakhand and the beginning of the 25th Silver Jubilee, Chief Secretary Radha Raturi reviewed the preparations for the State Foundation Day with all the officers in the Secretariat.
The Chief Secretary directed that in accordance with the vision of CM Dhami, this year the State Foundation Day is to be organized especially grandly. He said that because this year 24 years of the establishment of the state of Uttarakhand will be completed and the 25th Silver Jubilee will begin. Therefore, it has special significance for the people of the state. This year, the “Devbhoomi Rajatotsav” will also begin, which will be celebrated throughout the year from 9 November 2024 to 9 November 2025 next year.
State Foundation Day will be organized for a week
This year, it is proposed to organize the State Foundation Day starting from around 6 November for a week. It is proposed to start with the inauguration of Uttarakhand Sadan in New Delhi with the participation of officers, personnel and migrants of Uttarakhand origin working in various fields living in Delhi.
Next to this, various programs like organizing Pravasi Uttarakhand Sammelan, grand sports and cultural programs, organizing special festival on the theme of women empowerment, organizing multipurpose camps for the needy, organizing health check-up camps in slums, special programs for the disabled, organizing various honor and award distribution programs, glory stories of state agitators and martyrs will be organized.
Chief Secretary gave instructions to officers
The Chief Secretary has instructed to organize programs at school and college level on the achievements and development possibilities of the state in 24 years and ensure the participation of youth in it. He has instructed to ensure the participation of all sections of the state, especially women, school children and youth, in the Devbhoomi Rajatotsav organized throughout the year. The Chief Secretary has also instructed for special preparations to organize the State Foundation Day with grandeur at the Mandal level and district level.
