Uttarakhand: BJP preparations for Kedarnath by-election intensified, party sent the list of candidates to the Central Parliamentary Board, Bhatt is claiming victory

After the announcement of the date of Kedarnath by-election, the Bharatiya Janata Party has now intensified its further preparations. Today, the panel of names of candidates has been unanimously sent to the Central Parliamentary Board by the BJP. Now it will be decided in Delhi who will be the BJP candidate in the Kedarnath by-election to be held on November 20. Virtual meeting of State Parliamentary Board held

State media in-charge Manveer Singh Chauhan said that a virtual meeting of the State Parliamentary Board was held today in the presence of State in-charge and National General Secretary Dushyant Gautam, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and State President Mahendra Bhatt. In this virtual meeting, the panel of candidates for Kedarnath assembly through the organization in Rudraprayag was discussed. He said that all the names in the panel were discussed in detail on regional, social and organizational aspects. State President Mahendra Bhatt was authorized to present this panel of names of potential candidates before the central leadership.

BJP fully prepared to contest elections

BJP State President Bhatt said that the party is fully prepared to contest elections at booth and panna level and register a record victory. It is also expected that soon after considering the names of the panel, the central leadership will declare the name of the authorized candidate of the party. He said that after this we will start finalizing the next phase of our election strategy.

Seat vacant after the death of MLA Shailrani

Let us tell you that on July 9, MLA Shailrani Rawat from Kedarnath assembly seat died during treatment. Since then, Kedarnath assembly seat was vacant. Yesterday (October 15), the date for the by-election on Kedarnath assembly seat has been announced, under which voting will be held on November 20 and counting of votes will be done on November 23.
