Uttarakhand: Congress attacks BJP, BJP is scared of Congress’s strength in Kedarnath by-election

The bugle has been sounded for the by-election on the Kedarnath assembly seat in Uttarakhand. After which the series of allegations and counter-allegations has also started between the two big parties. Congress denied the incident of factionalism and infighting and said that whenever BJP senses its defeat, it plots such conspiracies.

Congress attacks BJP

On Thursday, Congress’s chief spokesperson Garima Mehra Dasauni, while addressing a press conference, completely denied the news of factionalism in the Congress and said that the news being shown and published in the media is a conspiracy of the BJP. BJP knows that the Kedarnath by-election is challenging for them. That is why they are making many ministers run around at government expense. When that too did not work out, the Chief Minister made a series of announcements as an election pulao.

Observers will reach Kedarnath together on October 19

Garima Mehra Dasauni said that when BJP gives charge of Kedarnath election to five cabinet ministers, then no one has any problem. On the other hand, if Congress increases the number of its observers from 2 to 4, then it is termed as factionalism and internal strife. Dasauni said that the observers of Congress will reach Kedarnath together on 19 October and prepare a panel of potential candidates.

The people of Kedarnath take decisions on their own discretion

Dasauni said that in 2012, the people of Kedarnath elected the Congress candidate as their MLA. In 2017, when BJP committed the heinous sin of toppling the Congress government even during the tsunami of 57, the people of Kedarnath taught the BJP candidate a lesson and elected the Congress candidate. All these things prove that the people of Kedarnath assembly take decisions on their own discretion, they are neither tempted by announcements nor can the presence of important ministers influence them.

The people have not forgotten the wounds inflicted by the BJP

Targeting the BJP, Congress spokesperson Dasauni said that the people of Kedarnath are angry with the mismanagement of the Char Dham and the neglect during the recent disaster. Garima said that by not attending the last rites of the MLA elected from Kedarnath, the Chief Minister insulted the people of Kedarnath and on the same day committed the sin of laying the foundation stone of a symbolic temple in the name of Kedarnath Dham in Delhi’s Bourari. The people of Kedarnath have not been able to forget that wound till date.
