Uttarakhand / Dehradun: Doon police in action, raids hotels and dhabas, issues challans if filth is found
Dehradun Police has come into action after the instructions of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. SSP Dehradun raided hotels, dhabas, restaurants, food stalls and food vans located on the roadside. During this, the police challaned 135 operators for finding dirt.
Doon Police raids hotels and dhabas
After the incident of spitting in tea in Mussoorie, CM Dhami had recently given instructions to take strict action against those who contaminate food. After the instructions of CM Dhami, Doon Police has come into action. On Wednesday, SSP raided hotels, dhabas and food stalls located in Doon. Along with this, verification of the workers working there was done. The police checked the kitchen area of the establishments in view of cleanliness, security arrangements and quality testing.
Challans cut after finding dirt in 135 establishments
During checking, instructions were given to install CCTV cameras in hotels, dhabas, restaurants. So that if any kind of complaint is received, the CCTV footage present there can be checked. Let us tell you that the police checked more than 1047 establishments. During this, filth was found in 135 establishments. The police have issued challans for the above. Along with this, 127 persons were brought to the police station for verification as they had not got themselves verified.
