Uttarakhand / Haridwar: Police caught a smart bike thief, he used to steal to satisfy his drug addiction

Haridwar police has arrested a clever bike thief. The accused used to commit bike thefts to fulfill his drug addiction. Police has recovered three stolen bikes from the accused.

Haridwar police nabs clever bike thief

SSP Haridwar has issued strict instructions to stop vehicle thefts in Haridwar. After which Jwalapur Kotwali police has succeeded in nabbing a vehicle thief. Police has nabbed Jatin Kashyap with a stolen bike. On the information given by the accused, police has also recovered two other stolen bikes.

The accused was addicted to drugs

The accused told the police during interrogation that he is a drug addict. To fulfill his drug addiction, he commits bike thefts. After that, he sells the stolen vehicle at throwaway prices and consumes drugs. Police has arrested the accused and sent him to jail.
