When will the IPL 2025 Mega Auction take place, where will it be organised?
Fans have been waiting for the mega auction of IPL 2025 for a long time. The official date for the auction has not been revealed yet. When will the mega auction be held?
Like before, this time too, plans are being made to hold the IPL 2025 auction outside India. However, if reports are to be believed, this time the auction can be held in Saudi instead of Dubai. At the same time, some reports are claiming that the mega auction will be held in Singapore.
According to media reports, BCCI is still looking for a venue for the auction. Nothing has been decided yet. However, the official date of the auction venue can be told soon because if the auction is held outside India, then the franchise will have to arrange for visa etc.
Last date for announcement of retention list of teams
Apart from the mega auction, the retention list of teams has also not been released yet. It has been made clear by IPL that teams can retain a total of six players. In which no more than five capped and two uncapped players can be included. If reports are to be believed, the list of retained players has to be submitted to BCCI by October 31.
