Uttarakhand: This Congress spokesperson presented his claim for the ticket for Kedarnath by-election, submitted the proposal to the state vice-president
The date for the by-election on the Kedarnath assembly seat of Uttarakhand has been announced. Voting for the by-election will be held on November 20. Along with this, leaders who have a dream of reaching the assembly by becoming an MLA have also come into the field to stake their claim for the ticket. Congress state spokesperson Sheeshpal Bisht has presented his claim to contest the by-election from the Kedarnath assembly seat.
Congress spokesperson staked claim
Sheeshpal Bisht has submitted a proposal of claim to the party’s state vice-president organization Mathura Dutt Joshi and state president’s advisor Amarjeet Singh in the absence of Congress state president Karan Mahara. Sheeshpal says that if the party expresses confidence in him, he will definitely make the Congress win the Kedarnath by-election. He said that whatever responsibilities the party has given him till now, he has discharged them with full loyalty. He said that he has been active in the Kedarnath assembly constituency politically and socially for a long time.
Shishpal Bisht is confident of winning the election
Shishpal Bisht says that the way the Bharatiya Janata Party has neglected the Kedarnath assembly constituency for the last 7 years, the BJP will have to pay the price for it in the by-election. Even though the Chief Minister is now making a lot of announcements there in view of the by-election, but in the last 7 years the government did not remember these announcements in Kedarnath.
Claim to repeat the performance of Mangalore and Badrinath
Shishpal Bisht says that the Congress party will fight the by-election with full strength. The way Congress had won the by-elections in Badrinath and Mangalore assembly seats, the same history is going to be repeated by the Congress party in the Kedarnath by-election. In fact, after the panel of names for the Kedarnath by-election was sent to Delhi by the state organization of the BJP, the contenders have started putting in their efforts for the ticket. At the same time, in the Congress party too, the interested contenders for the Kedarnath by-election have started staking their claim.
