The work of widening roads and intersections is going on at a fast pace in Haldwani. In this sequence, now the road will be widened from Nariman Square to Kathgodam Bridge. The survey for which has also started.
Road widening work intensifies in Haldwani
On Sunday, City Magistrate AP Bajpai and SDM along with NHAI officials did a field inspection from Nariman Square to Kathgodam Bridge. During this, illegal encroachments were also marked on the roadside. According to the officials, the marked encroachment will be demolished soon.

City Magistrate AP Bajpai said that work is being done to speed up the road widening work. Along with this, the road is to be widened till Kathgodam Bridge, so the officials along with NHAI have done a field inspection of the first phase. Work on which will be started soon.
