A female constable returning home on Karva Chauth was raped, her teeth were broken when she resisted; the incident created a stir in UP

On Saturday late evening, on Pali Road in Sen West Para Koriyan Chowki area, a young man raped a woman constable who was coming to her in-laws house after taking leave from Ayodhya on the occasion of Karva Chauth. On protest, the constable bit the finger of the accused. On which the accused punched her and broke the teeth of the woman. On Sunday, on the complaint of the woman constable, the police registered a case and sent the accused to jail.

Woman constable raped by neighbor

According to the woman constable, she was coming to her in-laws house on foot at around 7 pm on Saturday evening. Then seeing the deserted area and darkness on the way, neighbor Dharmendra Paswan alias Kallu, under the influence of alcohol, caught her. On protesting, he dragged her to a nearby millet field by grabbing her hair. Where he raped her.

Police arrested the youth

On protest, he bit her finger and hit her face with nails. On which the accused punched her in the mouth and broke a tooth. Hearing the screams, seeing the villagers coming, the accused fled from the spot. The woman constable along with her relatives first reached Pali police station. From where she was told that the place of incident was Sen West Para Koriyan Chowki. On which she filed a case in Sen West. Police arrested Dharmendra on Sunday and sent him to jail.

Police station in-charge Gautam Singh said

According to the incident told by the female constable, Dharmendra’s finger was found cut by teeth. Also, scratch marks from nails were found on his face. The accused was sent to jail on Sunday evening.

Raped a teenager for two years, arrested

In a village, a neighboring youth was raping a 17-year-old teenager for two years by luring her with marriage. The relatives caught both of them in a garden outside the village on Wednesday afternoon. The youth was beaten badly. 20-year-old accused Mohammad Arif apologized and assured to marry the teenager when she became an adult.

On Friday, refusing to marry, he abused the teenager and her relatives, after which the victim’s father filed a case. Police arrested the accused on Sunday and sent him to jail.
