Hezbollah fired 20 rockets on Israel’s capital Tel Aviv, see the terrifying scene in the viral video
Amid the ongoing conflict between Israel and Lebanon, Hezbollah has claimed that it has attacked Tel Aviv with missiles. In its statement, the Iran-backed group said that it has attacked the Nirit area located in the Israeli capital with missiles. In a post on Telegram, the Lebanese group said that they carried out the Haliya attack in solidarity with the Palestinians in Gaza and in support of the defense of the Lebanese people. Hezbollah’s statement came after a video verified by Al Jazeera’s Sanad agency.
According to a Reuters report, sirens rang out all over Tel Aviv during the airstrike. At present, there are no reports of anyone being injured in the attack. Al Jazeera, citing Israeli media reports, reported that all air traffic at Ben Gurion Airport has been stopped after the airstrike by Hezbollah and the Israeli army has declared a state of emergency in the Tel Aviv area.
The Israeli army has confirmed that Hezbollah has fired at least 20 rockets towards Tel Aviv. The video of the rocket flying in the sky is also becoming increasingly viral on social media.
Military intelligence unit also attacked
Israeli media quoted police as saying that pieces of the interceptor fell in the northern Israeli town of Maagan Michael, damaging a building as well as vehicles. Hezbollah said it targeted the Gilot base of military intelligence unit 8200 in the suburbs of Tel Aviv with a missile attack. It also said it targeted a naval base near Haifa.
