Canada has recently announced that students must get a score of 7 in Canadian language standard test to get a post graduate work permit and must have a master or doctoral degree, while many students technically available jobs available in that market. Now Punjabi youth have only two options, either they illegally live their lives in Canada or leave Canada and come to India. Some youth have started moving from Canada to America. Students are protesting in various provinces of Canada, such as Prince Edward Island, Ontario, Manitoba, and British Columbia. Students are setting up camps on the streets and taking out rallies. The youth say that our PR files are pending, which the Canadian government is not clearing. In such a situation, the government should increase a two -year work visa.
Immigration Mahir Sukant says that in Canada and India, the sour sum is on the peak and it is affecting the students. There is no further ray of hope as the Foreign Ministry has withdrawn the high commissioner, diplomats and higher officials.
