Pollution will be reduced in Uttarakhand, 150 electric buses are being received from the center, 100 will run in Dehradun and 50 in Haridwar

A special thought is being given to the cities that fall in the bad category regarding pollution across the country. For this, work is also being done on measures to reduce pollution in these cities. In this episode, Uttarakhand is going to get 150 electric buses with the help of the Ministry of Urban Development of the Government of India.

Like the whole country, some cities of Uttarakhand have also been found to be in a bad condition in terms of environmental pollution. The Ministry of Environment of the Government of India is monitoring them and also taking various measures to reduce pollution. A proper program is also being run for this. In which work related to reducing pollution in various ways is being done in these cities. Under this, a plan has also been made to run electric buses in such cities. It has also been decided to give a total of 150 electric buses in Uttarakhand.

With the help of the Ministry of Urban Development of the Government of India, it has been decided to give electric buses to the Uttarakhand Transport Department. The state is getting 150 electric buses under this. Out of these, 100 buses will be run in the capital Dehradun. 50 buses will be operated in Haridwar district. Parag Madhukar Dhakate, Member Secretary of Pollution Control Board, says that the state government had held talks with the Government of India for this. The Centre had also proposed to provide electric buses. The Centre has agreed to this and decided to provide 150 buses.

Three cities of Uttarakhand have been included in the polluted cities. These include Dehradun, Rishikesh and Kashipur. The amount of pollution has been found to be very high in all these three cities. In such a situation, under the program of the Government of India, different efforts are being made to reduce pollution in these cities. Operation of electric buses is one of these efforts.
