Uttar Pradesh: Kakori action hero Ashfaqulla Khan’s birth anniversary was celebrated, DM offered chadar to the tomb

The birth anniversary of the immortal hero of Kakori action Ashfaq Ullah Khan was celebrated on Tuesday in Shahjahanpur. DM and many others offered flowers and chadar at his tomb. A large number of people arrived during this time. Qurankhwani was organized in the morning at the martyr’s tomb located in Mohalla Jalal Nagar of the city. After this, the family members of the immortal martyr offered flowers and chadar at the tomb. School children offered flowers. Meanwhile, DM Dharmendra Pratap Singh also arrived and saluted the immortal hero.
Shahjahanpur’s revolutionaries wrote golden history
The DM said that from 1857 to 1947, the revolutionaries of Shahjahanpur have written golden history in every war of independence. Kakori action had shaken the British rule. Congress officials also offered flowers of respect. On this occasion, the martyr’s great grandson Ashfaq Ullah Khan, Afaq Ullah Khan, Congress Metropolitan President Pawan Singh etc. were present.
Sanjeev Mehrotra from Bareilly Trade Union Federation along with Mohammad Faizal of Revolutionary People’s Rights Organization, Lalit Chaudhary, Kailash of Student Organization etc. also reached the shrine and offered flowers of respect. During this, the main speaker historian Sudhir Vidyarthi threw light on the life and untouched aspects of the immortal martyr.
