Dhami government’s efforts regarding youth policy in Uttarakhand are intensified, youth policy will be launched on January 12

To make the youth self-reliant in Uttarakhand, the Youth Welfare Department is working on the Youth Policy. In the meeting held, it was decided that a Youth Commission will also be formed to implement all the regulations of the Youth Policy.
A youth policy has been prepared by the Planning Department for all the youth living in Uttarakhand. Regarding the Youth Policy, Departmental Minister Rekha Arya said that whether it is the youth living in the hilly districts of the state or their challenges or what kind of problems are there with the youth in the border areas, all these were discussed in the meeting.
Departmental Minister Rekha Arya said that the participation of youth is very important to take the state forward on the path of progress. Therefore, work is being done to make the youth self-reliant in the Youth Policy. At the same time, he said that all the departments related to this policy should work properly, for this the need of a Youth Commission is also felt.
Departmental Minister Rekha Arya says that until we do not understand the problems, challenges and needs of the youth living in different areas, we cannot prepare plans accordingly. He also said that until we make the youth self-reliant, the state will not progress. For this, it is necessary that we focus on youth specific schemes, on which the Youth Policy and Youth Commission will work.
He said that to meet all these expectations of the youth, there is a need to make separate schemes for men and women. He said that the department has decided that on the occasion of Youth Day to be celebrated on January 12, the state’s Youth Policy will be launched in Uttarakhand.
