These two major temples of Odisha will remain closed due to Cyclone Dana

Cyclone Dana is rapidly moving towards the Bay of Bengal. Odisha is going to be the most affected by this storm. In view of this, Odisha has made all preparations. The two major temples of the state, Jagannath Temple and Konark Temple, have been closed for devotees. This order is currently effective till October 25. After this, the situation will be assessed. Then the government will take a decision on opening these temples.

Dana will turn into a severe cyclonic storm

Let us tell you that Dana will turn into a severe cyclonic storm on October 24 i.e. Thursday. It will make landfall on Odisha-West Bengal coasts on the morning of October 25 at a speed of 100-110 kmph. According to IMD, during this time the winds can blow at a speed of 120 kmph.
