Uttarakhand: BJP releases list of 40 star campaigners for Kedarnath by-election, candidates will be announced soon
This list includes the names of the Chief Minister, BJP State President, In-charge, Co-In-charge, all former Chief Ministers and many senior leaders. However, BJP has not yet selected its candidate.
BJP State Media In-charge Manveer Singh Chauhan said on Tuesday that the party has further intensified the campaign for the Kedarnath by-election and has released a list of 40 star campaigners. Along with all the senior leaders of the state, senior officials of the Kedarnath assembly constituency have also been given place in this list.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, State President Mahendra Bhatt, State In-charge Dushyant Kumar Gautam, Co-in-charge Rekha Verma, Union Minister of State Ajay Tamta, Rajya Sabha member Naresh Bansal, former Chief Minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, Trivendra Singh Rawat, Vijay Bahuguna, Tirath Singh Rawat, MP Ajay Bhatt, Anil Baluni, Minister Satpal Maharaj, Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat, Subodh Uniyal, Ganesh Joshi, Rekha Arya, Saurabh Bahuguna, Organization General Secretary Ajay, Aditya Kothari, Bharat Singh Chaudhary, Anil Nautiyal, Bhupal Ram Tamta, Deepti Rawat, Dan Singh Rawat, Asha Nautiyal, Jogendra Pundir, Sameer Arya, Shashank Rawat, Chandi Prasad Bhatt, Mahavir Singh Panwar, Rishi Kandwal, Raghuveer Singh Bisht, Amardei Shah, Sumant Tiwari, Shakuntala Jagwan, Vachaspati Semwal, Vijay Kaparvan, Dinesh Uniyal, Dinesh Bagwadi etc. are included. Asha Nautiyal’s name tops the panel
Along with all the senior leaders of the state, senior officials of the Kedarnath region have also been included in this list. The name of the state president of Mahila Morcha, Asha Nautiyal, is also included in the list of contenders for the Kedarnath by-election. Asha Nautiyal is claiming a ticket from this election and her name is at the top in the party’s panel. Apart from this, six major contenders including late MLA Shailrani Rawat’s daughter Aishwarya and Colonel Ajay Kothiyal are also being discussed.
