According to the information, the cowshed was being run by a person named Sanjay Sharma. It is being told that there were 55 cows in the cowshed. Roorkee’s veterinary doctor Dr. Rohit Singh said that the livers of the dead animals were completely damaged due to blood poisoning. The animals were being fed dry grass and moldy bread and vegetables in the cowshed.
Dozens of cows are in critical condition
At the same time, Veterinary Dr. Vipul Saini, who is treating the cows, said that the condition of dozens of cows in the cowshed is still critical. According to the information received from the correspondent, the rules were not being followed by the cowshed operator as well. There was a stir in the area due to the news of the death of 13 cows in the last 24 hours.
Joint Magistrate ordered investigation
As soon as the information was received, Joint Magistrate Ashish Kumar Mishra inspected the spot and ordered an investigation. He said that strict action will be taken against the operator if found guilty. Apart from this, the Joint Magistrate said that a standard operating procedure is being implemented for all cow shelters. Strict action will be taken against the operators who violate the instructions.
