Uttarakhand: Ganesh Godiyal’s statement, Government is bringing UCC to divert public’s attention, Congress is strong in Kedarnath by-election

The Dhami government of Uttarakhand is going to implement the Uniform Civil Code in the state soon. In such a situation, the Congress has started targeting the Dhami government. On one hand, while the BJP is making big claims about the Uniform Civil Code, the Congress says that the government is patting its own back by bringing the UCC to divert attention from issues like migration, poor education and health system, unemployment and corruption.
Senior Congress leader and former state president Ganesh Godiyal fiercely targeted CM Dhami and the BJP government regarding UCC. Ganesh Godiyal said that the government has brought UCC to divert the attention of the public from the main issues. The government should share the complete information of the UCC law with the public. After the implementation of the UCC law, the Congress will put forth its views on this.
At the same time, Ganesh Godiyal has also claimed the victory of the Congress in the Kedarnath by-election. Ganesh Godiyal said that like Badrinath and Mangalore, the Kedarnath assembly seat will also come in the bag of the Congress, for which the party will contest the elections with full force.
Ganesh Godiyal said that in the recently held Lok Sabha elections, the graph of Congress votes has increased in Kedarnath assembly seat. Congress will give ticket to a deserving candidate in Kedarnath by-election and all the party workers and officials will work hard to ensure his victory.
At the same time, Ganesh Godiyal also lashed out at the government for not conducting the three-tier elections on time. Ganesh Godiyal alleges that the government is deliberately delaying the election process. Ganesh Godiyal said that Kedarnath by-election was to be held along with Haryana, but it did not happen.
