Uttarakhand: Uproar over mosque in Uttarkashi, people took out rally, markets also closed
A public anger rally is being taken out by Hindu organizations today demanding the removal of the mosque in Uttarkashi. Hindu organizations have called for a market shutdown demanding the removal of the mosque. Uttarkashi market is closed since this morning and Dunda market has also been kept closed. Due to which pilgrims are facing huge difficulties.
Uproar over mosque in Uttarkashi
People in Uttarkashi are demanding the removal of a mosque. That is why a public anger rally is being taken out in Uttarkashi today and the markets have also been kept closed. The anger of the people regarding this issue is not taking the name of stopping. Heavy police force has been deployed in the area. Swami Darshan Bharti, associated with the Hindu organization, has also reached Uttarkashi for this public anger rally.
The mosque is being described as illegal
According to the information received, there is a mosque in Uttarkashi which is being described as illegal by the people of the Hindu organization. However, the administration has also issued a press release regarding this mosque not being built illegally on government land. But people are not ready to accept this.
Large police force deployed
The police has made full preparations to stop the public anger rally in Uttarkashi. Barriers have been installed at three places to stop the rally. Along with this, a large number of police force is deployed on Bhatwadi Road including Single Tiraha. Along with this, police force has also been deployed at Bhairav Chowk.
