Cabinet Minister Satpal Maharaj met CM Yogi, discussion took place on opening closed canals
Cabinet Minister Satpal Maharaj met Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi. During this, there was a discussion between the two about opening the closed canals. Along with this, Minister Satpal Maharaj urged CM Yogi to give 665 cusecs of water to Iqbalpur Canal.

The state’s Tourism, Public Works, Irrigation, Panchayati Raj, Rural Construction, Jalgam, Dharmsva and Culture Minister Satpal Maharaj made a courtesy call on Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Meeting CM Yogi, he requested to give 665 cusecs of water to Iqbalpur Canal located in Haridwar and also requested for immediate cleaning of irrigation canals of Uttar Pradesh located in Uttarakhand.
Expressed gratitude for cooperation in construction of Jamrani Dam
Satpal Maharaj also discussed with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath about opening some closed irrigation canals of both the states, so that the irrigation problems of the farmers of both the states can be solved. Cabinet Minister Maharaj also thanked UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for the cooperation of Uttar Pradesh in the construction of Jamrani Dam.
