IND W vs NZ W: Radha Yadav showed amazing performance, India defeated New Zealand by 59 runs in ODI test

A three-match ODI series is going on between the Indian women’s cricket team and New Zealand (IND W vs NZ W). In the first women’s ODI cricket match, the Indian team performed brilliantly and defeated the opposing team by 59 runs in the match held on Thursday. The team has taken a 1-0 lead in this series. During this, left-arm spinner Radha Yadav performed brilliantly and led the team to victory.
Radha Yadav’s spin showed wonders (IND W vs NZ W)
Batting first, India gave a target of 228 runs to New Zealand. In response to which the team was all out for 168 runs in 40.4 overs. While Radha Rani took three wickets for 35 runs. On the other hand, Saima Thakor took two wickets for 26 runs. Apart from this, Deepti Sharma and Arundhati Reddy took one wicket each.
India’s start was not special
Talking about batting, India’s start was not good. Captain Smriti Mandhana returned to the pavilion at an early pace. India also lost wickets at regular intervals. Due to which the team could not score big. Deepti scored 41, Tejal Harbans 42, Shefali Verma 33, Jemima Rodrigues 35 and Yastika Bhatia scored 37 runs. The biggest partnership from India was between Jemima and Tejal. Both of them shared a 61-run partnership for the fifth wicket.
New Zealand failed to chase the target
Talking about New Zealand, Suzie Bates lost her wicket very easily. Raima made her her victim after scoring one run. While captain Sophie Devine got out after scoring two runs. Brooke Halliday 39 and Maddie Green 31 runs raised the hopes of the team. But Saima broke the partnership of both and brought the team back in the game. Indian bowlers batted brilliantly and gave the team victory.
