An Israeli soldier went to attack Gaza after the Hamas attack on 7 October last year. This 40-year-old soldier is the father of 4 children. He did not return in the same condition as he was when he went to war. There is no problem in his body. This soldier lives a life of extreme stress for six months and commits suicide one day when the date of his return to war comes close. Here we are talking about Israeli army soldier Eliran Mizrahi. Eliran’s mother Jenny Mizrahi says that my son returned from Gaza, but Gaza did not leave his mind. And that is why he died. He was very stressed after returning from the war. He was suffering from PSTD disease.

Returned soldiers are in extreme stress

This is not the condition of just one soldier. The condition of thousands of soldiers who went to Gaza from Israel to fight against Hamas is similar. Now when the tension is still there on the northern border, many soldiers are found trying to stay mentally healthy. All of them are living a life of extreme stress. All of them are soldiers of the Israeli army. A report came in January which said that 1600 IDF soldiers are suffering from PTSD (Post-traumatic stress disorder).

76 percent of these soldiers went back on duty after mental health treatment and joined the war. The IDF has not yet released any figures on how many soldiers have committed suicide, but it says that the army is trying its best to provide complete medical facilities to such soldiers.

The Israeli army does not know what the treatment is

The families of the soldiers suffering from this type of disease say that the story is not like this. They say that the Israeli army does not know how to treat such mentally disturbed soldiers. Family members said that the soldiers said that this war is completely different and in this war they saw such scenes which were never seen in Israel.

Mizrahi’s family says that when he was on leave, he had isolated himself socially and many times he would get very angry and would not be able to sleep. Mizrahi’s sister Shir said that he used to say that no one would understand what I saw. The sister says that it is possible that he would have seen many people dying and he would have killed many people. He would have been in shock when he would have done something like this.

Bulldozer was driven over dead or alive terrorists

As a soldier, Mirzahi had to drive a bulldozer-like bulletproof armored vehicle in Gaza. This vehicle is not affected by explosions. The family says that his assistant driver Jaken admitted that both of them were ordered to run the bulldozer over the terrorists whether they were alive or dead. Many times there were hundreds of such terrorists.

After such incidents, he has stopped eating meat. He says that when you see so much meat and blood outside, which includes your own friends and enemies, then it affects you. When you eat meat, it affects the mind.

Many other soldiers have also shared their pain after their treatment. Many soldiers say that the government is not doing much about the mentally tortured soldiers. They have been left to their fate. Many people are not able to get their treatment done. They are facing financial problems. No loan is being given. In a few days, such soldiers will be on the road.

Soldiers who have started living a normal life again from such a terrible situation are now afraid that they may be sent back to the war because now the war is expanding. Soldiers living such a dangerous life say that many people are being forced to commit suicide and the government is not doing anything to help them.
