Uttarakhand: Tragic accident in Haldwani, cylinder fell on electrician, head blown to pieces

A tragic accident took place near Sindhi Square in Haldwani. Here, a gas cylinder fell from the second floor and an electrician standing below died. Electrician dies after cylinder falls on him
Gas cylinder was being loaded into the warehouse of Standard Sweets House shop near Sindhi Square in Haldwani. But during this time, an accident took place. Electrician Laalta Prasad (42) died after the cylinder fell down. It is being told that Laalta Prasad alias Vicky, a resident of Bandia Bhatta of Ward No. 5 of Kichha, used to come and go to Haldwani often for work. On Friday morning at 10 o’clock, when he was preparing to return after finishing his work, the accident took place.
The cylinder fell due to the chain breaking
It is being told that the shop owner had made a chain pulling system behind the shop to take the cylinder and other goods to the warehouse above the shop. The goods were taken up with the help of this. On Friday morning also, the goods were being taken up with the help of this. During this time, the cylinder fell due to the chain breaking. The cylinder fell on Laalta Prasad from a height of two floors. Due to which his head broke into two pieces. He was rushed to the hospital. But he had already died.
Family members demanded the arrest of the accused
On getting information about the accident, the family members also reached the hospital and demanded the arrest of the accused. Along with this, the family members have also put pressure on the police to hush up the matter. The family members say that they also had a clash with the police regarding this. On the complaint of the family members, the police have registered a case against the owner of Standard Sweets and the two employees who lifted the cylinder.
