Year 2023… On 10 February, a wedding took place with great pomp in Shahjahanpur district of Uttar Pradesh. The groom brought his bride home after marrying her. He was about to celebrate the Suhagraat when he got a call from his friend. He said- Brother, now you are married. Make a video of the Suhagraat and send it to me. The groom got convinced by his friend’s words. Secretly in the bedroom, he made a video of his Suhagraat and sent it to his friend. But this video later became a cause of trouble for him.
The friend to whom he had sent the video of his Suhagraat started blackmailing him. Within a year and 8 months, he extorted so much money from the groom that he got fed up. Now the victim groom reached the police station to seek help. He told the police- Sir, my friend is blackmailing me. The police have registered an FIR against the accused friend. Further action is going on in this case.
The case is of Chowk Kotwali of Shahjahanpur district. Here a young man got married on 10 February 2023. He also had a friend named Shivam. The friendship between the two was so deep that they used to stay with each other 24 hours a day. Shivam also came to his friend’s wedding. Then when the time of Suhagraat came, Shivam asked his groom friend to send him the video of Suhagraat.
The victim told the police – Sir, I got convinced by Shivam’s words. I thought he is my best friend. Nothing was hidden from him. I also sent Shivam the video of my Suhagraat. My wife had no idea that I had made her video. But after a few days Shivam started blackmailing me. He started saying that give me money or else I will make your Suhagraat video viral. I was shocked to hear this. But out of fear of shame, I gave him the money.
Threat to kill
The youth told the police – Shivam did not stop even after this. He kept demanding money from me every day. For 1 year and 8 months, I gave him a lot of money. I got so fed up with his blackmailing that I finally refused to give him money. On this, he started threatening to kill me. When the matter escalated, I told the family about this. Then on their advice, I have come to you to ask for help.
Action will be taken against the accused
On the complaint of the victim, the police have registered an FIR against the accused Shivam. Further investigation is going on in the case. Soon Shivam will be arrested and questioned. If the allegations are found to be true, strict action will be taken against him.
