Uttarakhand: 20 more patients tested positive for dengue in Mangalore Thaska village, number of infected reaches 55

The outbreak of dengue in Thaska village of Haridwar district is not taking the name of decreasing. Dengue has been confirmed in 20 patients on Saturday as well. The number of patients has now increased to 55 here. However, due to the continuous availability of patients, Thaska village has become a hotspot of dengue. On the other hand, the health department is continuously organizing camps and examining the patients and medicines are also being distributed to them. Along with this, the department is also getting ELISA tests done by sending samples of patients suffering from fever.

The outbreak of dengue is increasing in Thaska village of Narsan block located in Mangalore. Due to which the number of patients is increasing continuously. At the same time, a large number of villagers are complaining of fever. One person in every house is suffering from fever, for this, the health department is continuously organizing camps in the village and examining the patients suffering from fever. Along with this, samples of patients are also being taken and dengue tests are being done. Many patients are also being monitored by the health department by giving them medicines.

It is worth noting that on Thursday and Friday, dengue was confirmed in 35 patients suffering from fever in Thaska village. After this, the team of the health department took samples of 106 patients on Saturday and sent them for ELISA test. Out of which dengue has been confirmed in 20 more patients and now the number of patients has gone up to 55.

Haridwar ACMO Dr. Anil Verma said that dengue has been confirmed in 20 more patients in Thaska village on Saturday, the number of patients has now gone up to 55. He said that blood samples of 60 more patients have been taken which have been sent for ELISA test. He says that the team of the health department is continuously organizing camps in the village and examining the patients as well as giving medicines. He told that one patient has been admitted to Roorkee Civil Hospital.

Along with this, he told that there was no dengue in Uttarakhand this season, information is being collected by them about where dengue has entered the state. He believes that Thaska village is adjacent to the border of Uttarakhand, it is possible that dengue may have entered from UP, however, it is being investigated by them.
