Big news is coming regarding Kedarnath by-election. Congress has announced the candidate for Kedarnath by-election. Congress has declared Manoj Rawat as the candidate for Kedarnath by-election. Manoj Rawat has been active in Kedarnath area for a long time. Manoj Rawat has been an MLA from Kedarnath earlier also. Manoj Rawat lost the assembly elections from Kedarnath in 2022. Even after that he was continuously in the area. In view of which Congress has given him a chance again in the Kedarnath by-election.

A letter has been issued for this by Congress General Secretary KC Venugopal. It has been said in this letter that on the recommendation of Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge, Manoj Rawat is being declared as the Congress candidate in the by-election to be held in Kedarnath Assembly. Manoj Rawat has been an MLA from Kedarnath seat of Congress from 2017 to 2022. In 2022, Congress again expressed confidence in Manoj Rawat. He contested the election on the ticket of Congress party, but he remained at third place.
