Uttarakhand: Dengue wreaked havoc in Roorkee’s Thaska village, 72 patients found in one village; claims exposed
So far 72 cases of dengue have been reported from Thaska village of Narsan block located in the district. This has created panic in Thaska and the surrounding villages. While on one hand the dengue season is in its last phase, on the other hand it is exposing the claims of the system as it ends.
Blood samples of about 100 people are being taken from the village every day. Dengue cases are increasing continuously. In such a situation, the District Magistrate and Health Department officials are keeping an eye on this entire incident.
Work is going on at the mercy of God
If the implementation policy of the system is not right, then it will not be known when it will be questioned. Government claims can be considered correct only as long as everything is going well. Whether it is going on at the mercy of God or the efforts being made in this direction are bearing fruit. A perfect example of this has also been presented by Thaska village of Narsan block located in Haridwar district.
Here dengue wreaked havoc in such a way that the layers of claims of the system kept getting exposed. The health department was working on a war footing for the last two months to prevent dengue. For this, the department also resorted to human and technical resources on a large scale. People were also praising the health department as everything was going well for two and a half months. But dengue exposed the claims of the health department before leaving.
Waterlogging in the village and lack of awareness among people increased the problem
District malaria officer Gurman Singh says that there was already waterlogging in the village. Also, people were not aware about dengue. This was the main reason why so many cases of dengue have been seen in Thaska village of Narsan. Work is being done to control the situation.
The unexpected cases of dengue coming from Thaska village of Narsan block is a matter of concern. The health department is trying to examine all its aspects. The department is making a strategy in this direction so that such incidents do not recur in future.
