Uttarakhand: Haridwar GRP exposed a big conspiracy, detonator found on railway track, accused “Ashok” caught red handed

In Haridwar district of Uttarakhand, GRP (Government Railway Police) has exposed a big conspiracy. Police has arrested a person on charges of placing a detonator on the railway track. The accused is a resident of Rampur district of UP, whose name is Ashok.

Revealing the case, Haridwar GRP said that they had received information from the control room of Moradabad Railway Division that a detonator was lying on the railway track near Moti Chur railway station. As soon as the information was received, Haridwar GRP immediately swung into action and reached the spot. When the police searched the footage of the CCTV cameras installed there, a person was seen roaming on the railway track in suspicious circumstances.

During police interrogation, the accused told that he had found this detonator signal firecracker lying near the railway cave. Let us tell you that the railway uses detonators to control the speed of the train during fog. The detonator is used to stop the train in a way, in which there is a lot of explosion and he had placed it on the track to hear its sound.

Station incharge of GRP Haridwar, Anuj Singh said that a case has been registered against the accused and he has been sent to jail. Signal fog firecracker (detonator) is used to stop the train and it makes a loud noise but it does not cause any harm.
