Uttarakhand: Traffic will be diverted in Uttarkashi, take a look before leaving home

In Uttarkashi, traffic will be diverted in the city till November 2. The police have prepared a diversion plan to control the crowd of people in the market and to ensure smooth traffic during the festival. Entry of vehicles in the main market area of ​​the city will be prohibited till November 2. Alternative routes have been determined to make the traffic smooth.

This is the diversion point

• Traffic coming from Dharasu has been diverted from Manera bypass.
• Vehicles coming from Gangotri, Bhatwati and Gangori have been diverted from Tekhla bridge.
• Entry into the city will be prohibited for vehicles coming from Dehradun, Haridwar, Rishikesh and Badkot Brahmakhal. For vehicles going towards Gangotri, Harshil, the route has been diverted from Badethi bypass to Barrage Tiraha- NIM Band- MDS School- Manpur Tiraha- Tekhla.
• Vehicles coming from Gangotri, Harshil towards Dehradun, Haridwar, Rishikesh and Badkot Brahmakhal should be diverted from Tekhla and travel through the above route.
• Vehicles coming to Uttarkashi from Dharasu should be diverted from Badethi bypass and parked in the nearest parking, truck union parking and come to the market on foot via Jhula Pool or other nearby route. Similarly, they will return again through the same route.
• Taxis coming to the market from Bhatwadi and Harshil will not be allowed to come down from Bhadri stand and private vehicles will also be parked on the roadside from Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya to Bhadri stand and will be diverted from Tekhla if the crowd and traffic pressure increases. Those who park their vehicles in Indravati parking, Joshiada parking and go to the fair on foot via Jhula Bridge or other nearby route. Similarly, they will return again through the above route.
• Vehicles coming from Manpur Sald Road will also be parked in Indravati parking and sent on foot via Jhula Pool or other nearby route.

• Badethi bypass- Badethi tunnel- Gyansu- Bhatwadi stand- Tekhla
• Entry of vehicles in the market
• This traffic plan will be effective on all vehicles except rotation buses and essential services.
• There will be a complete ban on the movement of heavy vehicles in the market area from 9 am to 9 pm.
