Before the Delhi Assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has suffered a major setback on Diwali in Delhi. BJP veteran leader and three-time MLA Brahm Singh Tanwar joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Thursday. Tanwar, who has also been a councilor three times, joined AAP with his entire team in the presence of Kejriwal. During this, MLA and PAC member Durgesh Pathak was also present.
AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal said in a press conference that along with Brahm Singh Tanwar, many other social people of Delhi rural and South Delhi also left BJP and joined the Aam Aadmi Party. Today is a happy day for the Aam Aadmi Party. Brahm Singh Tanwar ji is a big face of Delhi politics. He has been an MLA from BJP 3 times. Today he has joined the Aam Aadmi Party impressed by the work of the AAP governments of Delhi and Punjab. His arrival will give new energy to the party.

Arvind Kejriwal said that for the last 50 years he has been serving the people of Delhi in many ways. Sometimes inside the government and sometimes outside the government, he has been engaged in serving the people in different ways. He was twice the MLA of Chhatarpur and once the MLA of Mehrauli area. He has made a significant contribution to the development of Delhi. He is leaving BJP and joining Aam Aadmi Party. This is a matter of happiness for all of us.
