Uttarakhand: Doctors will be on alert in hospitals during Deepawali, Health Minister gave instructions
In view of the Diwali festival, all the government hospitals of the state have been put on alert mode. Health Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat has issued instructions to all the hospitals to remain on alert mode for 24 hours. So that the patients do not have to face any kind of problem. The minister has issued strict instructions to the medical officers for timely preparations.
Burn unit shut down in Srikot
The government is claiming to make the arrangements foolproof. But the truth is different. There is no burn unit in Srikot, the biggest base hospital of Garhwal. While this hospital is under Srinagar Medical College. Still, the burn unit has been shut down here for the last one year.
Health Minister gave assurance
During Diwali, people often get burnt due to fireworks. In such a situation, they have to rush to Dehradun or Rishikesh. In such a situation, instead of improving, the condition of the patient worsens even more after traveling such a long distance. However, the Health Minister has assured that all medical facilities will be provided in all the medical colleges of the state soon.
