Uttarakhand: Fake liquor racket busted, two smugglers arrested
Nainital Police has busted the fake liquor racket. Police has arrested two accused and recovered 19 boxes of fake liquor.
Fake liquor racket busted
Police is running a campaign against smugglers across the district in view of the festive season. Police stopped a Honda City car for checking yesterday. On searching the car, police recovered 19 boxes of fake liquor branded Bajpur Gulab from the car. Police has arrested both the accused smugglers.
Two smugglers arrested
The accused were playing with people’s lives by buying fake liquor and selling it at the price of real liquor to make a profit. The accused have been identified as Satnam Singh (45) son of Hansa Singh resident of Bijnor and Deepak Singh Rawat (35) son of late Anand Singh resident of Chamoli.
