Valley of flowers closed for tourists, more than 19 thousand people visited it

Uttarakhand’s world famous Valley of Flowers has been closed for tourists today. This time more than 19 thousand tourists visited the Valley of Flowers. Which included 330 foreign tourists.

Let us tell you that the Valley of Flowers is opened for tourists every year on June 1 and is closed on October 31. On Thursday, at around 12 noon, the valley was closed for tourists. This year so far 19 thousand 436 tourists visited the valley. Which included 330 foreign tourists. Due to this, the park administration got an income of 39 lakh 39 thousand 250 rupees.
Trap cameras installed for the protection of wildlife
Giving information, Forest Officer Chetna Kandpal of Valley of Flowers said that a large number of tourists reached this valley. Due to this, the department got good revenue. Five trap cameras have been installed for the protection of wildlife in the valley. The department’s team will keep visiting the valley from time to time to inspect it even after the valley is closed.
What is special about the Valley of Flowers?
Let us tell you that the Valley of Flowers is rich in rare Himalayan flora and is a unique treasure of biodiversity. Here tourists will be able to see more than 500 species of colorful flowers. Due to snowfall in winter, the road to the Valley of Flowers also gets closed. Due to which the valley is closed every year on 31 October.
