Uttar Pradesh: Relationship shamed in Shahjahanpur, 25 year old grandson raped 75 year old grandmother… arrested
A shameful incident has come to light in Shahjahanpur district of Uttar Pradesh. Here a 25-year-old youth allegedly raped his 75-year-old grandmother. Police gave this information on Friday. Police have registered a case against the accused youth and arrested him. Additional Superintendent of Police Manoj Kumar Awasthi, citing the report filed, said that the incident took place in a village in Khutar police station area. Awasthi said that on Thursday night, the elderly woman was sleeping in her house. Then her grandson Akhilesh Kumar came, allegedly picked her up and took her to his room, where he raped her. A case has been registered against the accused for rape and threatening to kill and he was also arrested on Friday morning.

According to ASP (Rural) of Shahjahanpur Police Manoj Kumar Awasthi, 25-year-old Akhilesh Kumar has been accused of raping his grandmother in Khutar. The grandmother was sleeping at home on Thursday night. Meanwhile, her grandson Akhilesh Kumar allegedly took her inside the room on the pretext of sleeping and raped her there. After raping her, Akhilesh threatened to kill her and fled. Awasthi said that after registering a case against the grandson for rape and threatening to kill, he has been arrested. Also, the woman has been sent to the hospital for medical examination.
