Army killed Lashkar commander Usman Bhai in Srinagar, security forces got a big success
The security forces achieved a major success in the encounter that took place on Saturday (November 2) in Khanyar area of Srinagar. The terrorist killed by the security forces in Khansar’s house was none other than Lashkar-e-Taiba’s top commander Usman Bhai. According to the information, terrorist Usman was the same person who was involved in the murder of Inspector Manzoor.
Usman was wanted in many terrorism-related cases including the murder of non-locals and security forces. According to the officer, he was also involved in the murder of Inspector Manzoor. The encounter between the army and the terrorists continued in two different areas of Jammu and Kashmir since this morning. Security forces killed three terrorists in both these areas – Anantnag and Khanyar in Srinagar. Among them, one terrorist was killed in the encounter in Khanyar, who was a senior commander of Lashkar.
Four soldiers seriously injured
In this encounter, two CRPF and two SOG personnel were seriously injured, who were admitted to the hospital for treatment. During the encounter, a big explosion took place in the house where the terrorists were hiding in Khanyar, after which a terrible fire broke out. Due to this fire, the area was filled with smoke and three other houses were also affected.
Security forces had received input
The army had received input about the presence of terrorists. After this, taking action, the soldiers surrounded the house in which the terrorists were hiding. The security forces were taking a lot of precautions to ensure that there is no mistake. They surrounded the house from all sides and waited for the terrorists to run out of bullets and catch them. However, the terrorists were firing intermittently from the house.
