Himachal Pradesh’s dynasty Goswami won the gold medal in the Youth World Boxing Championship Under-19 in Colorado America. In the 80 kg category of women, Victoria Gate of Germany was defeated by Vanshika in just 1 minute 37 seconds. Vanshika Goswami has brought laurels to the state and country by winning the gold medal in the Youth World Boxing Championship.
In this competition held in Colorado, USA from 25 October to 5 November, Vanshika has achieved this success with her brilliant performance. Vanshika Goswami started boxing training under the guidance of Kailash Sharma, Star-3 referee of Boxing Federation of India. Vanshika’s early education is from Shivalik School Jwalaji. In the 12th class, he studied at Government Senior Secondary School Samaloti (Nagrota Bagwan). There, under the guidance of coach Kailash Sharma, Vanshika started boxing training and became state champion in school games. After this, he showed his ability by winning a silver medal in the national sports as well.
Advance training in Rohtak, Haryana
After completing his 12th studies, coach Kailash Sharma advised Vanshika to go out for advanced training. After this, Vanshika took coaching from a private academy in Haryana and was selected in Sai Rohtak. Vanshika enhanced her sports talent under the guidance of head coach Amanpreet in Sai Rohtak. Currently, Vanshika Pandit Sushil Ratan is getting first year studies in the Government College as well as getting boxing training.
